RE: Lake Test

Looks like I'm gonna have to wait until that 383 is in the Emerald Mist to get a ride! I'm sure it'll be sad to see it go, but now you have the one you always wanted! Chad

Lake Test

Most of you know I been working on my Scimitar, getting it ready to sell.  I installed an original 1981 260hp Mercruiser, but I did give the drive and trim system an Alpha up-date, and a 4 blade 20 pitch stainless Mach prop.

I am empressed with the hole shot, comes out like a quarter horse out of the gates, top speed was 58.7 on the gps.  Barb took a couple Great video's, but I couldn't get them to load on my computer, she took a picture of the speed on her gps.  All in all, the boat, motor and drive performed perfectly, it's going to make some one a good, and good looking boat.

Tomorrow I'll bge putting in some new carpet, a speedo pick-up, and a little cleaning up, and it's going on the market.
