Yes the 1.2" are the size you want. They came with a peel and stick attached, and were pretty easy to install. Thank your lady for the kind words and good luck with your project.
I followed the link you posted, it came up with 1.2" letters... are these the ones you used? my Scimitar has been repainted, and there is no trace of the original lettering, and all the letters are missing from my Intimidator. there is a shadow there of them, but the measurement would be an estimate. I just want to make sure I am looking at the right thing. if you say they were a close match, I take your word for it.
another question if you don't mind... how were they mounted? did they come with a 2 sided adhesive tape already, or did you use a 3M product, or post mounted...?
off topic, just wanted to say that was a beautiful job you did with the one you had. the lady of the house here still counts that one her favorite!
good evening sir... I was wondering if you would be able to get me an exact measurement of the CARLSON letters on the side of the Scimitar (mine are missing) maybe the height and width of the C and the O for reference. I have a source for some possible similar pieces and need to know exactly what size. SAE or metric is fine.
I'm not sure if I can get them wider on the left side like the originals seem to be, but it may be a solution for myself and others who are missing all of the letters, or are willing to remove what's left to replace them all with something close.
mine are missing on the Intimidator and the Scimitar. if you could get that measurement for me, I'd really appreciate it, and will post here what I find out about what I can get.
