Always glad to see a new member here. I talked to the owner of the Scimitar for sale by Detroit, it's a pretty good project, and it's on the right ( aluminum ) trailer. That boat don't come with an interior, but I have all the demintions you need to start building it back with. There are a few things attractive about that project, it has the original trailer, thats worth about $1000 , it come's with a new set of tires, and it has a brand new set of "T" Tops and winglets, the windshield is good, thats worth a Bunch, another thing ... the price is Negotiable.
Hello members! I am new here, and very impressed with the sight and the resources. Nice to see people so helpful and willing to share experience and advice. I am currently looking for a project Scimitar. Not afraid of involved projects, but hoping to find something mostly, or fairly, complete. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I see some posts for advertised boats, and will keep watching for those, but the forgotten projects are not always advertised! My compliments on what you have done here.
