Hey Red, it's a go, I'll probably call ya around 1:00 or so to get you're address. Just walked in the door, gotta eat and shower. looking forward to finally getting to meet ya! Catch up with ya tomorrow!!
Hey, Red looks like I might be in OKC this Wednesday or Thursday was planning on stoping by and checking out the silver boat. Just making sure you'd around, if so I'll give you a call tomorrow or so and get you're address. looking forward to it.
Second thought, kinda sad... All the trim prices there, all the interior there( probably needs replaced) Out drive and prop still there, not my favorite trailer tho. If the roof had not collapsed on it, would of been one heck of a project!!!!!!!!
:( bumped into this one that "needs some work" (Right...) and thought to check in on your forum. It's good to read up that you're planning to retire :) but it'll be a loss for second lives of the Scimitars still our there, like this one...
only got a little distruction done so far, I got another little wodden boat going to Kansas city the 21st, been concentrating on it for the most part, I'll get some pic's up in a few days.
It's my body, it's Mad at me I guess, knee's, shoulder, just not able to keep up, I'm gonna miss the shoot-out this year, kinda hate that, but I got this boat going to Minnasota this week-end, the wooden boat going to Kansas City in 10 days, and a Larson going to California before the 4th of July and my boats are still sitting outside, the Fox is looking at retiring in August, and we are planning a little vacation trip up to Grand Lake July 4th weekend with the Jeep
"Crawl for Christ"
not to participate, just to watch and see the sights.
I think it's about time to let the boats go, except my own.
Awww, now Red, you are the scimitar man!!!! That is how I found this sight, not to mention how I was able to get my boat!!!!! I would not hear of you not having one!!! It would take some time..., but I would take some time to help ya get one back on the water. besides you are the one I am gonna call when I get to feeling overwhelmed. I do have a project that I may need some help on ya know!!!!!
Chad "silver scimitar" brought his boat down this week-end for a floor, stringers, transom mod. I figure this may be my last scimitar project, other than my own, unless I sell it, don't make much difference to me, I'm getting tired, it's been a good run.
