Yes there are two baffles in the tank, but they will not interfere with fuel getting to the pick-up tube, the baffles are about 1" off the bottom of the tank.

It would be pretty difficult for the pump to draw the gas to the engine with only 10 gallons of gas in that tank, and depending on the level of the boat, nose high would help to start with,  but once you got gas to the engine it will continue to draw, just a long ways to start a suction.

Two things ... there is an anti-siphon valve at the tank fitting that is prone to stick after a while sitting dry, and there is a screen on the bottom of the pick-up tube that can be restricted also.

OLE RED WOULD KNOW..................ANY BAFFELS IN THE 30 GALLON TANK ON THE 1980 SCIMITAR..........I PUT AROUND TEN GALLONS IN HER AND NO SUCTION .....ADD FIVE MORE AND I GOT FUEL TO THE ENGINE.....WHAT'S GOING ON HERE.....THANK YOU
