RE: Reverse Cable and speedometer cable needed 1975 CV19ss

Thank you for the information. I currently do not have a vehicle that will pull this thing. I don't think my 2000 Impala would take the trip pulling a 19 foot boat. It was no issue with my 14.5 ft Seadoos, but I would hate to burn up a trans. If I can get a truck by then, I may try to make the trip.

Thanks,

Thomas

I'm not sure on the Olds, but I think it is like the Chevy, stamped on a flat surface just forward on the starboard side of the block just beneath the head, and it seems also I've seem it on an aluminum plate riveted on the back of the motor by the punp.

Do you know we are having a meet / show in Red Wing Mn. the 19 / 21 August, maybe you could make it there

It has the Olds 455. Any idea what this boat might be worth? It is really in nice condition. Fires right up and sounds very beefy...MUCH meaner than the twin engine Seadoo I just sold. Paint is even very nice. I think I did well by purchasing it for $2800.

Also, to get it titled in Ohio, I have to take a pic of the engine ID #, since I bought it out of state. Do you have any idea where on the engine block the number might be?

Thanks again,

Thomas

Welcome to the site

Those cables are available at most any marine shop, but they may have to order one for the exact length ya need, and the speedo tube is available also, it is just 1/8 a pressure tube that sticks on the pitot and to the back of the speedo

post us some pic's .. we love pic's

Reverse Cable and speedometer cable needed 1975 CV19ss

Hello,

I just purchased a 1975 CV16ss with an Olds 455. I am trying to locate a reverse cable and a speedometer cable. Other than those items, my boat is in great shape.

Thanks in advance,

Thomas
