RE: Blackbird II

Bet you know what my vote is! My boat was repainted by the previous owner from the beltline up. It is og. from the beltline down. It will go back to og. when time and money permit. I would love to just see a pic of an all og. silver/gray scimitar! Good luck with your project, it'll look good either way!

RE: Blackbird II

Thought you might want to see some pics of Moonraker II since the final touches have been completed. Pics are not that great, will have some more done this summer. Will have it in the water in Detroit this summer doing some speed run videos, pics for magazine article and final tweaks on engine etc. www.mayaneyes.com (click on boat page)

Blackbird II

Hey Red,
Been a while since we communicated. Had the busiest winter season ever, no time off at all. Boss bought 5 boats this year, total is now 12, biggest now is a 1986 87' Burger that we cruised in the Bahamas. Anyway, finally getting to start on the Scimitar this summer. We will pull the engine and it goes to the same shop(Invision Boat Works, Saginaw MI) that did the CV23HT Moonraker II for restoration.
Here's my problem: can't decide on color. Am partial to the silver over gray as you know and the one in Oklahoma does look good in that scheme or do I stay with original emerald green?
