I got the prop shaft straitened today, installed new gimbal bearing, and it ran out fine ... But, no more rooster tail with this drive. The planing plate, anti cavitation plate, what ever ya call it is Huge on this drive, it sticks out almost two inches past the prop, the prop blade tips extended out past the plate on the other drive and it was easy to throw up a rooster tail, but not this one.
We took it out this evening, and ran it for an hour and a half, it ran great. It ran out 58 mph @4200 rpm, thats good enough for now, it's ready for the Broken Bow event ... 9 MORE DAYS
